Marr Solar Farm will help combat climate change and improve the UK’s energy security by generating clean, renewable energy. The solar farm would have an approximate capacity of 40MWp and generate an estimated 40,000MWh of clean electricity per year. This is equivalent to meeting the annual electricity needs of approximately 19,500 average UK homes. This is the equivalent of saving approximately 13,200 tonnes of CO2 each year.
